It's time to get Chiara elected!
Over the past four years, Chiara has been leading the charge: organizing for real action on flooding, fighting for fair housing in the neighbourhood, supporting seniors with property tax clinics, and keeping a volunteer-run Community Hub to serve our neighbourhood. We came within 94 votes last time -- now it's time to elect Chiara as our next city councillor.
We're holding a special orientation session on Saturday, September 5, at 2pm. If you're looking to get involved and not sure how, this is for you!
We will:
- meet Chiara, members of the campaign team, and other volunteers
- provide an update on our campaign for city council
- hear from you and get your ideas
- do a quick canvass training and then get some hands-on experience
If you are away for the long weekend, we'll have more opportunities later in the month. The campaign heats up after Labour Day, and now's the time to push for real change in York South-Weston!
